The Application Dependency Mapping Service (ADMS) Creates an automated diagram and tabular view of system and application dependencies using systems and network metrics. This information is used to:

• • Create automated documentation downloadable into Visio and Excel.
• • Network traffic profiles go down to system process level – e.g. sqlservr.exe – and port level.
• • Identify inactive systems for decommissioning.
• • Identify unknown server relationships and dependencies.
• Identify application to application dependencies.
• • Cloud migration planning: map out application and server dependencies and ensure continuity of service when migrating to the Cloud by avoiding incidents and downtime.
• • Optimise system infrastructure (for example co-location of dependent virtual services on the same physical host).
• • Identify traffic outside of the network, for example, updates to software agents from remote sites such as cyber security patches.
• • Automatically group remote devices into logical location based on customer provided network information.
• • An additional service for Windows can also do tracing of all disk IO activity at a file level.
